High Speed Filler and Capper for Beverage System

A client purchased a used high speed filler and capper with joining conveyors for installation in a new juice production line for its end customer. The existing control system was obsolete and was totally decommissioned.

The challenge to Genesys Controls engineers was to totally redesign the control system to merge the two different machines into one system. The solution was to install new servo motors that were controlled by a a single PLC system Since there was not an accumulation table between the machines, the output of the filler had to be syncronized with the intake of the capper. At full capacity of 800 bottles a minute, Genesys' engineers designed and programmed the new control system. Upon successful completion of commissioning and startup, the result was a seamlessly integrated machine and a very satisfied customer.
