Large Scale Pneumatic Conveying System for Plastics Industry

Our customer was an original equipment manufacturer of pneumatic conveying systems for the plastics industry. Their complex systems featured proprietary dust and static control devices and were sold to high volume plastic manufacturers world-wide.

Genesys Controls was hired to develop the automation and controls for these turn-key systems. With multiple motor control centers, diverters, rotary valves, and the proprietary devices, the operational specifications and programming were extremely complex. To assure constant product delivery, the control system had to maintain constant pressure in the closed loop system. The operator interface units were developed with easy to understand screens and featured real time data of the system. We are extremely pround that these state-of-the-art controls have given this OEM a competitive advantage with respect to their competition.
